Fine print you'll want to read
- Coach bookings go through Stripe Connect. Life at the Improv takes a 2.5% platform fee from each booking. Card processing fees (Stripe's ~2.9% + 30ยข) are separate and set by Stripe.
- All paid tiers include a 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime from your profile, no question asked.
- Student accounts stay free even after a coach leaves the platform. Your journal, portfolio, and reel are yours.

Questions
Do I need to pay to use the AI scene partner?
No. The Free tier includes 20 scene partner sessions a month with no credit card required. Pro unlocks unlimited scenes, Opus-tier AI on every turn, and studio-quality voices.
What's the difference between Pro and Coach?
Pro is built for actors practicing alone. Coach adds everything a teacher needs to run a class: student roster, lesson plans, classroom projector mode, homework, Stripe payments. A Pro user who starts coaching can upgrade anytime without losing their data.
Can I start as a coach and get paid on day one?
Yes. Connect your Stripe account in Profile, set your hourly rate, and students can book and pay through the platform. Money goes straight to your bank on Stripe's standard payout schedule. We take a 2.5% platform fee, no hidden charges.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Your account drops to Free at the end of the billing period. All your scenes, portfolio, journal entries, and reel stays. You just lose unlimited scene sessions, studio voices, and the video analysis features.
Is there a student discount?
The Free tier is already usable for students. If you're in a program that needs Pro access for a full roster, email support@latihq.com and we'll sort something out.
Can a school sponsor parent accounts?
Yes. The Studio plan includes read-only parent access for every student. If you want parents to have full Pro access as part of the program, we'll build a bundle, email us.
